‘letters to my skin’ was founded by Dr Muna Abdi.

Muna is a Anti-racist scholar, and poet…. born in Somaliland and raised in the Yorkshire Dales. Muna’s poetry fuses together her nomadic roots and her experiences as a Black, Muslim, Somali woman, living in the diaspora. Too foreign for home, to foreign for here… Making sense of the skin she’s in, Muna write herself home, through poetry.
