If silence had a sound

If silence had a sound
I hope it would not be dark
but a tranquil well of blue

where souls rest awhile
veiled in the shimmer
of suns & moons

notes of solitude infused with late lavender where summer tapered off

a refrain of time apart
to dream
where rains fall soft.
