As a Black woman, Naomi Williams not only excels in her field of Special Educational Needs and Mental Health but also champions support for individuals facing multiple layers of oppression. As the Founder & Clinical Director of Sensory Learning & Play C.I.C., she dedicates herself to supporting Neurodivergent Children & Young People and their families, whilst navigating systemic barriers. Qualified since 2011 in Social Work, Teaching, Training, and Authorship, Naomi's books and poems challenge societal norms, delving into mental health, faith, relationships, and overcoming trauma. Naomi has been given the nickname “disrupter” by colleagues and peers in the field. Her works serve as beacons of hope, urging readers to confront the status quo and embrace resilience amidst adversity.
